Terms of service

Updated 20 October 2026

About Bris

Bris is an AI assistant in testing, operated by Akkrev Technologies OÜ (Estonian registry code 17519031), registered at Ahtri tn 12, 15551 Tallinn, Estonia. These terms apply when you access or use Bris.

What the service does

Bris chats through Telegram and WhatsApp, with web account management. It can keep conversations and saved memory, read information from services you connect, prepare drafts and internal Inbox items, look up public time and weather information, and perform supported connected-service actions when you directly request them. Available functions depend on your access and the permissions granted by each provider.

Bris also supports requested background tasks, reminders, public-web watches, bounded connected-source suggestions and email alerts. Temporary provider relationships can support chat context and can be paused or forgotten. Verified friends can share messages and agree time plans without exposing their private accounts. You can submit a short problem report after agreeing what to share.

Using Bris

Use only accounts, services, and information you are authorized to access. Do not use Bris for illegal activity, abuse, harm, or attempts to access another person’s information. Protect your account, review the permissions you grant, and disconnect channels or services you no longer control. Connection steps must be completed in the web app.

You keep your rights in the content you submit. You give us permission to process that content only as needed to operate, secure, and support Bris and to follow your instructions. You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to provide that content.

AI and connected services

AI responses and summaries can be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect. Review important outputs and source material before relying on them. Bris is not a substitute for qualified professional advice or your own judgment. Connected services have their own terms, privacy practices, permissions, and limits, and they can change or remove functions that Bris uses.

Testing, access, and changes

Bris is an early-access service. Availability, features, and access can change, and the service may be interrupted. We may suspend or end access to protect users, connected services, or Bris, or if these terms are materially breached. You can stop using Bris at any time and can ask us to delete your account information, subject to legal retention requirements.

Cost, cancellation, and withdrawal

New accounts receive $5 USD of prepaid Bris usage credit. With a valid invitation, this starter credit is free. Without an invitation, you verify your phone and purchase the starter credit for $5 USD plus applicable tax before finishing account setup. Tax is shown at checkout and does not add to your usage credit. This is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. Additional usage may require more credit. Existing free access remains as assigned, and optional auto-recharge requires a separate choice in Billing settings. You can stop using Bris or ask us to close your account at any time. For payment or refund questions, contact us using the details below. If you are an EEA consumer and a statutory withdrawal right applies, you may withdraw within 14 days after agreeing to these terms by sending us a clear statement. There is no charge for doing so. These terms do not limit any longer cancellation or withdrawal right provided by law.

Responsibility

To the extent allowed by law, Bris is provided without guarantees that it will always be uninterrupted, secure, accurate, or suitable for a particular purpose. We are not responsible for a connected provider's service or for a change made by that provider. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability, rights, or remedies that cannot legally be excluded or limited, including mandatory consumer rights.

Changes to these terms

Bris is under active development. If these terms change materially, we will post the updated terms and change the date above. If a change requires your agreement, we will ask for it.

Applicable law

Estonian law applies to these terms. If you are a consumer, this does not take away the mandatory protections or courts available to you under the law of the country where you live.

Privacy and contact

Our privacy policy explains how personal information is handled. For questions about these terms, email contact[at]usebris[dot]com.
