The useful outcome

A reusable travel preference can narrow a shortlist, but the current trip still needs dates, people and a current budget. Keep a standing preference separate from the price you accepted for one journey.

An example request

This is an illustrative request, not a customer result or a promise that every connected service supports every step.

Remember that I prefer quiet hotels and direct flights. For this weekend, keep the total hotel price below €300 and show me the sources.

A practical sequence

  • Save the durable preference explicitly
  • Give this trip its own dates and total budget
  • Review the shortlist against both sets of conditions

What to check

Check the final total, number of nights and room occupancy. A preference for quiet hotels is not evidence that a particular property is quiet.

A mistake to avoid

Do not silently carry last month's budget into every future search or claim a hotel meets a preference without a supporting source.

Using Bris for this work

Bris is designed to carry useful preferences into later work. Tell it what should stay relevant, correct details when they change, and ask what it remembers before relying on an important constraint. A remembered preference is context; it is not permission to send, book or buy.
